Minefield Game

This game requires 25 pieces of paper (circles preferred), or kids 16 for younger. To set up, spread out all pieces in a 5 x 5 or 4 x 4 square. Grid the “Minefield” code on a scrap piece of paper, and make a line connecting any order of dots going only sideways or forward, but not backward. Do not show or tell the players the pattern. Let each child take turns trying to correctly cross the field. They cannot go backward....

Superhero Tag

Only requires an open field or playground. Let each child choose a superhero to play as. For example, if someone wants to be Wolverine, let them have two lives to represent his superpower, regeneration. Try to make all powers as equal as possible, and able to be used during a normal game of tag. If some children want, they can be a villain with an equal superpower. (Anything to keep them happy!)
