To Remember:
Baptism (being born again) is necessary for salvation
Vocabulary Lesson - Read John 3:1-6; 16 Nicodemus was a Jewish
leader who had seen the miracles Jesus had done. He believed that
Jesus had the power and approval of God, but was afraid to be seen
with Jesus in daylight. He came to the Lord at night instead. Jesus
told him that in order to see God, one must be born again. Nicodemus
did not understand. How could a grown man or woman become a baby
again? He was thinking physically. Jesus was talking about spiritual
rebirth. Being born again, in water, means baptism. It means
you get a fresh start, a new life, and forgiveness of sins.
